"PROJECT STRIKE" READIES FOR ITS LAUNCH

NewYork, Jeanie Kurzrok, Executive Vice President of Yours In Travel Personnel, the nation's largest source of recruitment for the Travel Industry, has announced that "Project Strike" is now in its final stage of readiness.

"Project Strike" which finished its beta testing last year, is almost ready for its launch," Kurzrok said. "With a database exceeding 1 million candidates worldwide, it became apparent that we needed to upgrade our automation system and its interface through a series of enhancements. The system launch date is anticipated for January 2, 1999. It will scan, read, and properly file 100,000 resumes in less than 30 seconds. It will also allow us to receive resumes via email, our web site, and via fax all at the same time.

"In addition, we have enhanced our current web site. It now features a weekly update called 'Hot Jobs of the Week'. Jobs located throughout the US are posted . The Title, Salary Range, Location, Job Description, and Code Number are provided to allow candidates to submit an on-line application with the code number of jobs they are interested in. If qualified, they are contacted within 24 hours. Another enhancement shows our current headquarters staff members and their biographies. Companies can also post their job orders on the site.
